Hello!
I am a State Certified General Elementary Classroom School Teacher PreK-8 (No expiration date). I graduated from New Jersey City University with a dual majored Bachelors Degree in English Literature and Education with and additional concentration in creative writing. Additionally, I have a Masters Degree in Art Education from Boston University. I grew up in a bilingual household, thus making my experiences with English language learning and teaching for all ages very expansive, especially when coupled with my formal education and training. I am excited to share my experience and look forward to hearing from you soon.
I'm a teaching artist / musician, singer, performer and former Art Gallery owner who was once described as "breaking the ions of the sky," by reporters in the likes of The Guardian and New York Theater Publications when I became the first prize winner of the Stanley Stella shouting contest in New Orleans. Where I once lived and worked in feature films as a theatrical stand in and a background actress. I've traveled to South America and Greece to visit family on various occasions.

I am very experienced with English Language Education for all ages. As a General Elementary schoolteacher I have enjoyed utilizing both a whole language and a phonetic approach to teaching reading and spelling to young students. Additionally I've enjoyed teaching other subjects and English literature to both Elementary and High School aged students. I am a very student centered teacher and I always approach my learners with a variety of teaching styles, so as to address their individual needs.
