Hello!
Hi, I'm Shane from England. I'm fun and friendly to talk to! I'm a qualified, experienced English teacher with a BA (Hons) degree in Communication Processes. I have a passion for helping students grow in confidence and fluency. I’ve taught over 300 students on Cambly and delivered more than 500 lessons here as well. I always aim to make lessons relaxed, enjoyable, and tailored to your personal goals—whether that's improving conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, or preparing for IELTS and interviews. I’ve always loved words and stories. For 18 years I worked as a librarian in the UK before setting off to travel and teach. These days I’m based in India, where I also volunteer with a children’s charity. My travels across Asia have inspired me to write four books, blending adventure, culture, and a little humour. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, music, movies, and watching football (I love my hometown team, Leicester City). I like connecting with people from different cultures and believe that learning English should feel natural, fun, and rewarding. I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your English journey!
