Hello!
Hi there! I am fresh out of graduate school and, like many of you, I am in the process of learning a second and third language. So, I definitely know what it’s like to be a language learner and a student. With that in mind, you can count on me for an empathetic and safe learning experience ☺️
I am an avid reader but also a bit of an internet addict. Fortunately, this means I am quite up to date on the latest TV shows, K-Dramas, TikTok trends, memes, animes, songs, and movies! Some of my favourites right now are Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren Beyond Journey's End, Dandadan, Demon Slayer, Interview with the Vampire, and The Boys/Gen V. I am always watching or listening to something with my cat (I love cats) ! I also enjoy languages. Right now, I understand French at an upper-intermediate level. My Spanish, on the other hand, is at an A2 level on a good day haha! Aside from languages and entertainment, my background in mental health and education has me frequently reading the latest research on a variety of psycho-educational topics, which means I adore conversations related to social issues.
