Hi! My name is Mary J. I'm from Kansas City, Kansas, a city in the very middle of the United States of America, but I used to live in New Orleans, Louisiana, for seven years, where I worked as a tour guide. Right now, I am back in Kansas City with my dog, Kodi. I have degrees in English, Anthropology, and International Studies. I have professional experience teaching English to a variety of learners. My classes offer a variety of fun and creative ways to help you improve your English language skills. I'm looking forward to working with you. d[^_^]b
I love the rain, traveling, hiking with my dog, reading fiction, writing fantasy, swimming, jogging, watching movies, and learning about pretty much everything. World history, myths, and folklore are especially interesting to me as well. I adore learning about new cultures and look forward to hearing about yours soon. I hope to see you in my classroom!

I am very patient and fun! My classes will help you improve your speaking, listening, pronunciation, and confidence in the English language. I work well with adult intermediate and advanced learners. Classes will happily go at your speed, but my students MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD. If you are younger than 18 years old, please look into Cambly Kids. My classes are completely in English, so it is a fully immersive experience.
