Hi, My name is Lucy and I love teaching English as a second language to those from any country who want to learn. I can help you learn new words, improve your pronunciation, and your grammar. Most of all, I am someone you can talk to so you can practice your English. I am talkative, enjoy people, and like to laugh. I have a Masters degree in Education with a specialty in Community Counseling. I have lived and taught English in China. I have had the pleasure of visiting 41 countries and have worked in different professions such as social work, counseling, and business. If you would like to chat, give me a call.
Some things about me: I'm a bit of a travel bug and enjoy seeing and living in new places. I love dogs and learning about animals. Love good food, but my preference is to eat it instead of cook it! I am an avid reader. I'm good in a crisis. I'm a mother, and grandmother with grandkids in college. I like photography. Learning new things about the world is wonderful. I like people who are openminded and honest. I like sharing stories with others and them sharing their stories with me.

My teaching style depends a lot on you, the student, and how you learn best. I listen to your needs and what you would like to learn about. I have found that doing actual lessons as well as having conversation tend to work for most individuals. I try to be patient, kind, and understanding and make it a fun learning environment. I enjoy working with intermediate and advanced students.
