Hello! My name is Misty and I’m here to assist you in feeling more confident and comfortable in your ability to utilize the English language. I'm looking to work with students who are seeking to apply their English in daily casual conversation and even in their professional lives. No matter what your level of English is I want to encourage you to converse with me as much as possible and specifically on subjects that interest you and will help you achieve your personal goals. I’m from the United States and I live in the state of Florida. I have a bachelor’s degree in merchandising management and over 30 years of experience in customer service. I love to travel, swim, and kayak and I take health and fitness very seriously so CrossFit and yoga are very important to me. Growing up I had the pleasure of traveling all around the world. Having an opportunity to learn about so much history, culture and traditions has shaped me into a fun and eclectic woman who enjoys a wide array of music, food, art, and fashion.

My teaching style is based on having conversations with my students in a relaxing and casual but fun atmosphere where we practice everyday conversations on various topics while helping them build their vocabulary and correcting any grammar mistakes that may be made during the conversation. For each lesson, I will prepare different conversation topics based on each student’s English level and personal interest.
