Hi! My name is Emily and I am here to help you build confidence in speaking the English language. I am here to help students with everyday conversational English and to support learning English for school or work. I believe that learning another language is very useful and not always easy. I have found success in teaching/tutoring through talking and figuring out what is needed, then possibly playing games, having conversation, or looking at specific topics such as text, vocabulary or grammar to improve English, it really depends on the person! I would love to help you improve your English speaking skills!
I currently live with my family in Mexico. I am a mom of 3 and was a teacher for many years so teaching is what I love to do. In my free time, I love to hike, bike, play games and go to the beach with my dogs! I am also learning Spanish!

My teaching style is very laid back and relaxed. I want to meet each student where they are and find the best way that you learn! I am open to casual conversation, learning about where you are from and sharing about where I am from, I am also able to bring articles to read and discuss, we can explore grammar, and do all of this in a fun way! I love to include your interests into class, be it your favorite book or TV character or another hobby or interest. The goal is to make you feel comfortable so that we can be most successful in learning!
