Hello! My name is Jennifer. I am a TESOL-certified English Teacher and Tutor specialized in Business English (including Economics), Technology and Technology Management, Essay Writing, Interview Preparation (including United Nations interviews) and IELTS. I'm from California (Silicon Valley). I am a former UN Economist (United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland) and I also worked as an engineer in California.I started teaching and tutoring English (ESL), math, business and techology management in Switzerland. At Cambly, I enjoy helping students to improve their English. I've tutored and assisted over 2000 students in English as a second language, online, in-person and in-class. I am a serious professional, and a curious person. I enjoy getting to know new people, and learning about their lives and how they think. I used-to work in the United Nations in Geneva, and I am a native of the Silicon Valley, so my background is multi-cultural. I have several university degrees (B.A., B.S. Master) and I've been teaching for over 20 years, including in a Master of International Management and Master of International Technology programs in Switzerland. Since 2015, I've tutored professionals, adolescents and children in English as a Second Language: I can help you with grammar, pronunciation and general conversation. Since 2015, I've tutored or taugh over 2000 students, mostly in the Global South: Korea, China, Brazil, Turkiye but also developed countries: France, Switzerland, Spain, Japan and Chinese Taipei.
