Hello!
Hello as a native Queen's English speaking cultured lady who's travelled and lived abroad for many years, in TURKEY, SPAIN and the UK. I realise how important it is to share language, thoughts and feelings with others. Being a fan of "intonation" and "expression" via language and non monotone phoneticlly correct speech spoken in a Queens English non accented way, i will be delighted to tutor students and converse and engage with "rounded" educated vowels and enable their speech and understanding to be fluent, fluid, phonetically correct and to be understood in a non accented BBC NEWS kind of way1 I was born in a Posh Spa town in the UK and Educated to a high standard in a Top Class Grammar School. Since leaving school i have worked in many different fields, Furniture Design, Magazines/Newspaper's, Printing, Media, Actress, Building, i have ran Carpentry and Roofing Companies. i have bought and renovated houses in different countries and have travelled extensively. Living for many Years in Turkey where i ran my Private Boat Charter Business and Fishing Tours and i taught English to private students, so am able to help boat Captains with Nautical English. i can also speak a little TURKISH so very happy to talk to Turkish Children and engage in Turkish too. Now i'm living in Southern Spain in a huge remote Cortijo / Farmhouse with my 5 rescue Dogs and 4 Rescue cats, I'm again free to share my love of the beautiful and extensive English orative language that i know. My teaching style is Positive and fun and i am happy to cover any areas you need help with and talk on any subjects you want. i look forward to talking to you... I have wide and varied interests, liking to hold conversation on many different subjects and to engage in dialogue and debate and discussion. Used to run Boat Charter Business in Turkey so can help Captains with Nautical Terms. And i speak a little Turkish as i lived in Türkiye before for many years! I really love animals, i used to have horses when i was younger, but now i have 4 Rescue Dogs and 4 Rescue Cats. I love Gardening and growing things. I'm a big foodie and like Cusine's from around the world and different taste delights. I play online video Games and RPG too. I am happy to converse on all these topics... Fun, Positive, Animated and happy with lots of encouragement and smiles. 8-) I MAINLY PREFER TO TEACH CHILDREN BUT DO HAVE SOME REGULAR ADULTS AND AVAILABILITY FOR THE RIGHT STUDENTS! PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT TEACH CHILDREN ON ADULTS ACCOUNTS, ONLY HIGH INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED LEVELS. Happy to correct when needed or required and suggest alternative ways of saying things or expression. I have a vast vocabulary! Queens English Phonics style Speaking with emphasis on Non Monotone, rounded vowels speech. PLEASE NOTE I DON'T DO 1 HOUR or 45 MINUTE LESSONS UNLESS I KNOW THE STUDENT! I ALSO DO NOT TEACH LESSON WITH STUDENTS WITH CLOSED CAMERAS AND VIDEO, SORRY.. I have a 3 strike policy regarding not showing up to classes, i would appreciate the class being cancelled beforehand, and if you could also let me know why, obviously i do appreciate in EMERGENCY situations, you cant cancel! NEW STUDENTS who don't turn up for your first booked lesson without cancelling will not be accepted for any future lessons!
