I really enjoy teaching students about the world and watching them make connections to their own lives. I have worked with students both in elementary and high school settings and find I have an excellent rapport with both groups. I have an easy going personality which makes students feel comfortable quickly and increases confidence and learning abilities.

I like to have fun while learning so students are not stressed out while absorbing new concepts. I always encourage students to ask questions when they need more details to understand a new word or phrase. If a student makes an error I can correct it immediately or wait until he or she is finished. Sometimes students want quick correction while others find it better to be corrected once they have finished speaking. I am flexible and want the student to let me know what they prefer so they feel confident working with me.
