Hello!

Hello! I'm a teacher with four years of experience, and I have a passion for language learning. I am comfortable with all learning styles and believe that language lessons should be focused on your own goals--and, most of all, that language learning should be interesting and fun! I have mainly worked with people from Spanish- and Portuguese-language backgrounds, but language learners from all backgrounds are welcome. Several of my students have made major life changes with their new English skills. They have changed careers, gained citizenship, and started their own businesses. I know all these achievements resulted from their own hard work and effort, and I am so happy I was able to help them along the way! If you would like, please message me in advance and tell me what you would like to work on in our lesson: 1. Conversation (You can choose the topic or we can talk freely) 2. A grammar or vocabulary topic 3. Games for English improvement 4. Something that you have written or a presentation you are preparing (I can give you feedback). 5. Anything else! I am so grateful for my students and really hope I can inspire them as much as they have inspired me.

I am fascinated by linguistics and I also speak Spanish. I can also understand some Portuguese, French, and Japanese. للأسف أنا لا أتحدث العربية. I wish I could study every language. I live in the US and have also spent time in Spain and Mexico. I have also traveled to Canada, Brazil, Japan, and India. I love music (l enjoy playing guitar and piano and singing), traveling to historical places, watching Youtube and documentaries, studying history, calisthenics, weightlifting, martial arts (especially boxing), table tennis, hiking, gardening, and cooking.
