Rodney
Hello!
This is Rodney from the "House of the Mouse", Orlando, Florida. I am an Entrepreneur who has retired from Corporate America since 2010. I have worked as an English Instructor for 2 years tutoring students from 4 years old to 65 years old. I have taught as many as 6 students in a group format and one on one with working professionals to improve their English speaking skills and had the highest rating as a 5-star instructor. Patience is an important tool in teaching and the only embarrassment is by not helping your students become more confident English speakers. To me, a learning environment should be fun-filled and motivate the student to speak more. I look forward to learning new things from my students as well. I am here and ready to connect with you and to help take your English skills to new heights. Don't wait; Book your session asap.
My background takes me back to New York City. It is there that I grew up, went to school, made most of my friends, fell in love for the first time, had my first heart break for the first time and gained most of my life and work experiences. There is a popular saying in New York City culture and song that goes, "if I can make it there, I can make it anywhere". Most New Yorkers agree with that assessment, because New York City is a very competitive environment not intended for the faint of heart. I bring this up to say that my experiences are many, as I have seen a lot and have been exposed to a lot, so in the game of life, not many things surprise me, so that makes me receptive and understanding of the challenges people from all walks of life may face. In addition to my life experiences in New York, I am an avid traveler and have drawn much knowledge and experience from the cities and cultures I have visited. Traveling to experience different cultures and environments is something I would recommend to anyone who has the ability to do it. Never limit your consciousness and awareness to one setting. Be a well rounded person by receiving and processing different points of view.

Teaching Style
My teaching style adjust for each student and their specific needs. I am very versatile and adaptable, therefore can easily have a conversation about almost anything. I am a great listener and if I am unsure about a statement a student makes, I always explain my understanding of it to the student to verify if it's correct. The most important component of my teaching style is fun and laughter. By nature, I am a fun-loving guy who likes to make people laugh. So whenever there is an opportunity during a conversation for some honest humor, I go for it.
