CJ
Hello!
Hi there! I’m CJ. I have a degree in Accounting but didn't work with it. I worked in corporate America as a process developer/trainer and worked with people from different nationalities for whom English was not their 1st language. I discovered that I have a knack for connecting and helping people convey their thoughts. Upon moving to Ghana, I decided to stay home and home-school our 5 children and have done so for the past decade. I love to teach children and adults alike and am keen on pronunciation. I would love the opportunity to help you improve whatever aspects of English that are most important to you from day-to-day conversations to business communication. I am really excited about this opportunity and cannot wait to connect with you real soon. So come on and book your time with me.
I’m American, but I currently reside in Accra, Ghana, in West Africa, with my husband and our 5 children. I’m the physical type. I enjoy dancing, playing soccer, climbing trees, biking, you name it. So, my teaching method is more of a modeling style. I like to model whatever concepts we are dealing with at the time and role-play when applicable. I use my hands a lot, I’m very expressive in that way. It helps to keep things alive, but not so overbearing that you get distracted.
