Hello! I am a teacher from the USA but now live in Portugal. I love helping people learn new things. I have a wide background of experience in electronics, education, and transportation.
I am living in a new country trying to learn the language, so I empathize with people trying to learn English. I am married with four children, although three of my boys are grown and still living in the United States. My youngest son is seven and he keeps me busy, but not too busy to teach. I enjoy traveling, family activities, amateur radio, baseball, watch collecting, and learning new things.

I have been a middle and high school math teacher for about a dozen years, so I have patience. I like to listen to my students and try to figure out the best way to help. We all make mistakes when we try new things, so I try to build a trust between me and my students so they feel comfortable learning from advice and help I provide.
