Karenmarie
Hello!
Hi. I'm Karenmarie, a San Francisco, California native educator with 20+ years of experience teaching English and other academic subjects to students of many ages and backgrounds. I pride myself on being creative and responsive to my students' needs and goals. I live in Southern Mexico and besides teaching English, I work as a human rights defender and a yoga teacher. I am fully bilingual (English - Spanish) and bicultural. I look forward to meeting you!
I am also a yoga and meditation teacher. I love the outdoors, travel, new adventures and meeting new people. I believe I was born to teach and I love what I do. It makes me so happy to see students excel and reach their goals and dreams. I have travelled extensively and am familiar with a variety of different accents and cultures.

Teaching Style
Learning should be FUN! That's my rule number 1! My teaching style centers around creating a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow in. I believe in building strong relationships with students and tailoring my teaching methods to fit their individual learning styles. Every student has unique needs and interests, and I strive to incorporate those into my lessons to keep them engaged and motivated. Please note that I only teach teenagers over 13 and adults. I use a variety of creative teaching methods to keep students interested and excited about learning English. We can incorporate music, art, film and other forms of multimedia into our lessons to make them more engaging and memorable. And I'm always open to feedback from my students and willing to adjust my teaching methods to meet their needs.
