Hello!
Hi! I love learning languages, but it can be difficult. I am patient in helping beginners and advanced English students reach their desired level of fluency in English. Let’s talk! Let’s learn! Some students learn by listening, some learn by doing, and some learn by reading. I adapt my lessons as I see which are the most beneficial for each student. I like to include life experience into my lessons, because then the English is relevant to your own life, from tasks you’ve completed or tasks you do on a daily basis, or thinking about the future (to motivate you!).
I love having discussions about similarities and differences in cultures // I love adventures (traveling, scuba diving, motorcycle riding, dancing Salsa) // I love having discussions about philology - the stems that languages are based on // I love learning! I’ve recently learned SQL, Power Query, Dax, PowerBI and advanced my Dashboard creating skills in Excel // I joined the US Peace Corps 13 years ago as a volunteer Business Advisor in Bulgaria, and have lived in Europe ever since. Throughout life I have always been curious about other cultures, and learning and growing from each of my experiences. I have worked in Retail as an Analyst; in U.S. Taxes managing a global Customer Success team; and I have worked with local cultural centers and non-governmental organizations to develop community projects.

I encourage discussions and questions from students because you know best if you understand a grammar point or the meaning of a word or phrase. I will likely ask questions to confirm your understanding, or so that I know how to better guide you in the exciting process of learning English.
