Hello! My name is Cherie, and I am so excited to be your English teacher. I have had experience teaching English since 2016. I have a TESOL certificate and am CRLA certified. I have taught students from over 25 different countries and have over 4,500 hours of tutoring/teaching experience in 3 different countries. I have taught English in the US, online, in China, and in Korea. I have experience teaching TOEFL prep, Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Grammar, and professional/business English. *I only teach adults over 18+* My goal is to have you reach your English speaking goals. I can't wait to meet you, learn more about you, and help you in the ways you need so you can reach your English goals! ☺️
I love to travel (I have traveled to Hawaii, Canada, Japan, the Philippines, England, Korea, Mainland China, and Hong Kong so far), and I like to take pictures and videos as well. I am also learning Korean and am currently at the intermediate level. My favorite food is any Korean food, and my favorite dessert is anything with mint chocolate in it. 😋 Some of my other hobbies include reading, writing, hanging out with friends, trying interesting/weird foods, baking, and watching movies.

My typical teaching style is fun, energetic, and laid back. I make sure that you are never bored in my class but are still learning a lot! My goal as a teacher is to make you feel comfortable during class so that you can speak English naturally and not worry about making mistakes. I change up my teaching style depending on what your needs are and how you like to be taught. 😊
