Hello everyone! I'm Lia, an American happily residing in Ireland, and I'm delighted to be joining Cambly as an English tutor! I have travelled across many countries and familiarized myself with a wide range of accents and dialects. My hobbies include creative writing, reading, playing music, dancing, film, science, video editing, hiking and swimming. I've tutored friends and family in both biology and English and it was a fantastically rewarding experience. I love the English language and I'm passionate about helping learners harness its full potential to express themselves effectively and creatively.
I have a deep passion for music, film and creative writing, which serve as a wonderful medium for language and emotional expression. I also have a background in biology so if you share an interest in medicine, health and nutrition, I'm more than excited to explore these subjects with you in English! I also love travelling, hiking in nature, swimming and chatting to people! :)

I believe music, video, and cinema are excellent art forms to utilize in the learning process, and I'd be happy to discuss movies, shows, or songs or even incorporate singing into our lessons if that sounds like a fun idea. I'm open to discussing any topic, from your favourite TV shows to science and philosophy.
