My name is Daniel and I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom - a small town just outside London to be precise. I am a fully certified TEFL teacher, with a Level 5 Diploma, and I also hold a BSc in Environmental Science. I am an avid traveller and have spent a lot of time both living and working in foreign countries, particularly in Asia and Africa. In addition to teaching English, I am also a certified project manager by profession, and have recently worked in the up and coming e-mobility and electric vehicle sector. I also speak Swahili as a second language at an intermediate conversational level, which means I am a student just like yourself!

As a teacher I aim to be as open and as flexible as possible. I believe it is crucial to fully understand a student's requirements and current level from our first meeting to ensure that the conversation and any teaching can be fully tailored to suit your needs. Understanding my students' learning styles is equally important. I try avoid working to rigid structures and formats as I believe that this stifles learning and creativity. It's best that we connect on a personal level and get to know each other properly from day one!
