Hello!
Hi, I’m Steven. I’m a teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching English, Maths and Science to adults and children of all ages. I returned to England last year to care for my elderly father following a period of 21 years living and working in Thailand. Prior to that, I spent 17 years working in the film industry, in all kinds of roles, but mainly as a producer.
My interests include music, film, reading and writing. I am an excellent swimmer, practiced yoga for 20 years and still enjoy hiking, cycling and motorbiking. I've travelled all over the world, for business and pleasure.

I teach using a range of styles. which focus on getting you, the student, to talk as much as possible. I use role-plays based on real-life situations, and discussions designed to help you share your opinions on a wide variety of topics. I really enjoy teaching through drama, as I also have 16 years of experience working in the movie business, mainly as a producer. Or if you just want to learn through playing games, that’s fine. I’m not a video gamer, but I have a lot of interactive stuff, and am a very good Scrabble player!
