Andrea
Hello!
Hello from the county of Devon in England. I love English and I love teaching it! My qualifications are a Bachelors degree in English and Linguistics, an Honours degree in Linguistics and a 120 hour TEFL course gained at TEFL.org in the UK. My teaching experience includes teaching language and communication skills to students at tertiary level, many of whom were not native speakers of English. Having studied several foreign languages myself, I know what it's like to learn a new language and so am sympathetic to the needs of my students and the challenges they experience. My TEFL course included modules on English for business purposes, teaching online, teaching large groups, and teaching young learners and I am happy to teach individuals as well as groups. I particularly enjoy conversational classes. They're a great way to learn about our different cultures and ways of life.
I'm easy-going, up for new challenges, positive and enthusiastic by nature and I enjoy meeting people from across the world. I love the outdoors, music, theatre, literature, writing and am a keen and active nature and wildlife conservationist. One of my greatest passions is rewilding and I am currently returning my garden to a natural state.

Teaching Style
I have a relaxed, friendly approach to teaching and encourage participation from my students. My classes are designed to meet my students' needs, and so I adapt my methods accordingly. I like to create a fun environment in which my students feel confident to express themselves and practice their new language skills. One of the biggest rewards for me is when students look forward to their next class with me!
