Hayden
Hello!
Hello, I am delighted to be involved in teaching English! My background in teaching has been in educating my daughters at home K-12 and helping educate my granddaughter. Substitute teaching in public schools is current. My background is in the production of certified organic beef and cereal grains and direct marketing to consumers, food establishments and commercially, as well. If this is of interest, it lends itself to the Business English aspect. I look forward to meeting you!
Growing up in South Mississippi, then living in North Dakota for the past 40+ years gives me a balanced language perspective. There may be some accents, yet I do understand the regional flavors and localisms. I am interested in nutrition, gardening, and reading and enjoy nature!

Teaching Style
My teaching style is to understand the needs and goals of the student and work together to accomplish these goals. Making the desired progress within the time limit needed and achieving the most with the time we have is of utmost importance. A blended course of study is helpful for flexibility and making changes as needed to accomplish the task at hand in a timely fashion. This may or may not involve the independent use of technology as the student prefers. I offer plenty of conversational style speaking practice as a native speaker and look forward to sharing this learning experience with the student.
