Hi there, I am originally from New Zealand. I have travelled extensively and lived in several different countries.( Australia, Turkey, Vietnam, Cambodia) I have been an E.S.L teacher for nearly three years focusing mainly on secondary school age students and also adults with specific focus on the I.E.L.T.S exam requirements and methods. I would say my main strength as a teacher is my ability to identify my students strengths and weaknesses while communicating in a clear and understandable accent to help them with pronunciation, grammar, expanded vocabulary and context in conversational or written English. My main interests are reading, history, travel and widening my knowledge of other cultures. I find this gives me an ability to relate to and converse with a wide variety of students and age groups naturally. I look forward to assisting you with your E.S.L studies, particularly with the methodology employed to do well in the exam at your desired band level.
I have a generally enquiring and curious mind but also like my lessons to be as free flowing and beneficial as possible to my students. I work for YOU to obtain the best value outcome from any lesson. A clearly understandable New Zealand English accent usually make for free flowing dialogue and exchange with my students.

I have good attention to detail and am able to relate easily to a wide range of students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Generally I would say I am relaxed but attentive to each students desired outcomes from a lesson. I would say my specialty is I.E.L.T.S preparation and methodology but am outgoing and genuinely interested in my students. A good sense of humour and a pretty easy going nature help with this. I AM SORRY BUT I PREFER NOT TO TEACH YOUNG CHILDREN.
