Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Colin and I am from England. I have over 20 years experience teaching and working in schools. I have taught a variety of subjects and have always worked with students who are learning the English language. I am also learning a new language myself so I understand the difficulties we face and the boundaries we encounter. I have been helping people from Thailand with their learning of English for around 5 years. I have a bachelors degree, am a certified TEFL teacher, qualified in child protection and I am currently studying my teachers licence degree.
I thrive off making people happy. My employment history has driven me to get children and adults to reach their goals and dreams. My own happiness comes from seeing other people achieve success in life. I am a qualified child protection officer so students well being and safety is always a priority for me. I like to make lessons and life as fun as possible. I believe that if we are happy then this promotes the ultimate environment for learning to our full potential.

I have a great level of understanding of how difficult learning a new language can be. I am a very patient person and have a relaxed nature. I conduct my lessons in a friendly and approachable manner. Making mistakes with learning a new language is normal and part of the learning process. My background is in sport. So over the years I have learnt how to motivate pupils in a fun and enjoyable way while at the same time getting the most out of every lesson.
