Hello!
Hi, My name is Tony and I have been teaching English for more than 10 years, in many countries around the world. I love teaching. I especially love connecting with my students from different cultures to share our ideas and experiences. I love travelling and I have visited more than 50 countries! I am currently living in Vietnam. In my free time I like photography, making YouTube videos, bikepacking, camping, scuba diving and snorkeling. I love animals and have had a lot of different pets, some of them were normal and some were quite strange.
I love teaching as much as I love travelling. In 2011 I got on my motorbike and started travelling around the world. Since then I have visited more than 50 countries on 5 continents. I have taught English in many countries along the way. I think this experience helps me to teach my students from different cultures and backgrounds. Other than travelling, I also like hiking, bikepacking, photography, making YouTube videos, scuba diving, snorkeling and camping. I moved back to Vietnam in 2023 and I am hoping to learn about permaculture. I would like to grow my own fruits and vegetables as well as have a few animals to produce my own eggs and meat.

Teaching Style
I am a friendly, patient and approachable teacher. I believe that the primary focus of language learning is communication. It's ok to make some mistakes as long as people can understand each other. Once you are a confident communicator, you can then focus on perfecting pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. I have experience teaching students of all ages, but on cambly I focus on adult students. I find it can be helpful if we share some interests as this provides a lot of topics that we can use together.
