Hello!

Hello, students! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Joe, and I am a teacher from Toronto, Canada. I am a native English speaker, and I am TESOL-certified to teach English to speakers of other languages. I have more than 15 years of experience teaching children and adults in a variety of settings. I’ve taught at the college level here in Toronto, and, for the past 3 years, I have been teaching children online. I love teaching, and I love working with kids because they're eager to learn. I emphasize a positive, fun, and supportive class environment. In this type of environment, children feel relaxed and more capable. I can help improve your child's English in a number of areas, including reading comprehension, pronunciation, vocabulary, writing, and grammar. I’m really looking forward to meeting you. So please, book a time with me and let’s work together to master the language of English!

Hi everyone, My name is Joe, and I was born and raised in Canada's largest city, Toronto. I am married and have two children. I love teaching, but I haven't always been a teacher. Most of my working life has been spent working as a data analyst, which wasn't very exciting. But then I discovered teaching, and I fell in love with a new career! When I'm not teaching, I like to do all kinds of cool things, including reading, learning French, cycling, hiking, playing basketball, cooking, gardening, and walking my two dogs, Trixie and Lola. And, if I had more time, I would learn to play a musical instrument—probably the guitar or piano. Which instrument do you think is best?
