Toby
Hello!
Thank you for your interest! My name is Toby and I am from Scotland. I have several years' experience as a CELTA-qualified English teacher, both in the classroom and online, and have a passion for supporting language learners whatever their motivation. I studied French at German to degree level and therefore have an excellent understanding of both the challenges and the rewards of language learning, as well as the exciting cultural exchange which learning a language brings. Whether you aim to improve your English for work, study, travel or purely for enjoyment, I look forward to meeting you and to helping you achieve your goals.
I have taught English both in the UK and mainland Europe, both online and in person.

Teaching Style
I teach in a very calm, relaxed and good-humoured style. If students wish to have their language errors corrected, I am happy to do this, but I am equally happy to support students in communication without focusing excessively on grammatical errors.
