Hello!
Hello, My name is Tom. I have over 20 years teaching experience with adults and children. I have taught a variety of fun subjects including gymnastics in which I owned and operated a mobile gymnastics program in L.A. and Beverly Hills and managed 7 instructors..Before teaching gymnastics I worked 4 years in the Film and Television Industry in both L.A. and N.Y.C. I am also a semi-professional songwriter and musician who releases music under the name Chill Magnet. I love traveling and learning new languages and discovering different cultures around the world. I have traveled to 32 countries. I am originally from Los Angeles, California, USA ,but I now live in Ensenada, Mexico where I am building a 4-story home with AirBnB rentals and I am currently learning Spanish. I also have a small dog named Loki. I look forward to talking with you and helping you with your English on Cambly. Tom
I have a dog named Loki. He is a Corgi mix and I take him for walks on the beach or hikes in the mountains behind my home in Ensenada. I also enjoy bike riding, surfing and playing music. I am a musician who plays bass guitar and acoustic guitar. I sing and write songs. I do not have children but I do have 4 nieces and 1 nephew who live in the United States.

Teaching Style
I use positive reinforcement to encourage students to build their self confidence. I also customize each lesson based on the students goals and ability level. I believe that a student will learn and retain more if the class is fun and engaging; therefore, I often tell jokes or funny stories and ask questions about the student's country, language and culture.
