Hi I am Gareth from Nottingham, England, The home of Robin Hood! I have an Honours Degree in English Literature from Lancaster University and I have also taught English as a foreign language at GDUT (Guangdong University of Technology) in Guangzhou China. I have lived all over the world and enjoy learning about new cultures and more importantly, meeting new people. I can help you practice and improve your spoken English, whether it is for study, or work, or travel or just so you can watch your favourite movie or listen to a song you love. I saw some graffiti in my hometown, it said "learn everything!" I enjoy business, sports, cooking, music and travel as well as animals and wildlife. CONFIDENCE IS KEY! Unfortunately, I can't accept 30min classes at 0.15mins or 0.45mins past the hour eg 10.15 or 10.45 as they inhibit my schedule planning, anything at the start of an hour or 30mins in is fine eg 10.00 or 10.30. My interests include sports, mainly football and boxing, Music ( playing guitar and song writing), Travel, Food, fashion, culture and being with family and friends. NOTE: I DON'T USE ENGOO ARTICLES in my classes. My teaching style is energetic, informative and relaxed. We can discuss everything and anything, the key is communication! Just to let everyone know, I'm not experienced teaching younger students U16 years old. There's so many great tutors on Cambly I am sure you can find an expert in younger years education!
