Hello!
Hi! My name is Corbet, and I'm originally from the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I have also lived in California, Chile, and Tunisia. I currently reside in Thailand! In the past, I have worked with many non-native English speakers. It was always interesting to figure out how to communicate with each other. We ended up learning so much more about each other's cultures, things that made us similar and different. When I began to live abroad, I found myself on the other side, where I had become a non-native speaker of the host country's language. So I understand what it can feel like to desire communication but lack the experience and confidence to talk with native speakers. I enjoyed the experience of meeting kind people who were willing to help me along the way, who took the time to share in interesting conversations. This gave me so much more comfort and self-confidence. I'm here to help do the same for you!
