Hello!
Hi! I'm Susie, from England. I have been teaching English now for five years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and I am certified to teach English as a Foreign Language. In the past I have worked in schools, been a childcare professional and volunteered for an education charity. I have taught all language levels, and teach conversation, vocabulary, and grammar lessons. I also give advice and deliver practice lessons related to the IELTS examination. My first goal is to start building your confidence. I achieve this with my friendly and relaxed lessons and lots of encouragement. In time, and with practice, I will help you to improve your pronunciation, conversation skills and fluency. I am very excited to meet you!
I enjoy being active, so I cycle and swim often and walk amongst nature to relax. I love to go camping in the summer on the coastal areas of England. One of my hobbies is reading, and I like all different kinds of books. I can talk all day about them! I love to travel and plan to visit many different countries in the future. Listening to my students talk about their own country's history and culture is an absolute privilege. I look forward to hearing all about the culture and history in your country!

My lessons are always relaxed and friendly. I start by asking my students what their language goals are. I then tailor the lessons to fit the student's level and preferred learning style. I am very patient and happy to repeat myself, slow down my speech, and use the chat box to translate, if necessary. Please don't worry about making mistakes! I am here to guide and encourage you. I am passionate about improving my student's speaking and listening skills, and watching them grow in confidence.
