I live in South Wales now but I have lived in many places including Hong Kong, Italy, India, Brunei, Ireland and Northern England. I speak clearly with a slight northern English accent. I am actually a qualified maths and English teacher but offer my services on Cambly for English conversation and grammar perfection. I love dogs, growing vegetables and walking in beautiful places to watch birds, waterfalls and oceans.
Holiday Notice: I will not be on Cambly on Sunday 1st November. I am sorry for the inconvenience to my students. There are lots of extra hours are appearing on my schedule because I am increasing my hours at the moment, so please get your series' booked now. This availability will quickly disappear. I do not work on Fridays or Saturdays. I teach people over 18 years old. Please see "Cambly Kids" for Children's tutors. Individual lessons in a series can be cancelled if you have unexpected commitments. My teaching career spans 35 years. I taught classes and one-to-one in maths and English. My resources and experience will help me find new ways to achieve your English language aims. ____I am a published poet and writer and gain great pleasure from reading a wide range of literature. As well as being a qualified teacher, I have experience working in management, employment agency, international company (Rank Xerox), publishing and newspapers._____ I like to talk about all sorts of things, including animals, nature, current affairs, politics, art, science, philosophy, beliefs, culture, and travel. **Please remember to rate and review lessons. This may include material we didn't have time to cover in the lesson. There may also be phrase and vocabulary lists to add to your learning strategy. I will use articles and literature from your professional field to help us develop relevant vocabulary for you. I understand the pitfalls of language study because I am a student of languages myself.
