Hello, I am Teacher Melissa and I am so excited to meet you! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. I have worked with children and animals most of my life in some way. For 13 years before teaching ESL online, I worked with children with special learning needs. I have been teaching ESL online for six years now. Some of my interests are animals, outdoor activities, and helping learn English, cooking, knitting and traveling. I love the look on a person's face when they finally understand what they are learning! I am a very energetic teacher, and I love getting people excited about learning. My goal while teaching is to make learning English enjoyable, interesting, and entertaining.
Hi, my name is Melissa. My husband and I have two boys. I have a bachelor's degree in Equine Science and Associates Degree in Veterinary Medicine (Veterinary Technician). I also have an Advanced TESOL certificate. I love to work with animals, but I also like to help people and work with children. For the past six years I have taught English as a second language online. I have enjoyed all the students I have taught. I like the look on my students faces when they have success in class. I look forward to having many more students here with Cambly.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is one that meets the student where they are at in learning a new language. I like to be playful and patients with new learners. This encourages them to be comfortable in the classroom. I am also patient with more advanced students and encourage repetition to ensure they understand the lesson. I like to use props and TPR when I am teaching. I find all of these skills help a student learn and enjoy learning a new language.
