Hello!
hi there, I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you on your journey learning English. I have a degree in Education and many years of experience teaching students from the ages of 5 to 75. I have over 20 years in the classroom and 4 years on Cambly. My training allows me to address a variety of levels and learning styles. In our initial meeting, I will want to get to know you and find out about your learning goals and from there we can tailor a plan to help you improve, or if you just want to chat, let me know and I'd be happy to do that as well. I love talking to people from different cultures. My areas of expertise include oral language development (vocabulary, pronunciation, and syntax), phonemic awareness (blending sounds to make words and breaking words apart to decode them) and how to move your mouth in order to pronounce words correctly.
I love to travel and meet people from other cultures. I started traveling early, getting my first passport when I was 6 weeks old. I have family in UK and have been there many times and I've been pretty much everywhere in the Caribbean as well as France, Switzerland, Austria, Venezuela, Colombia and New Zealand. I also lived in Mexico for 5 and a half years. I'm excited to meet you and to find out more about you.

Everyone is unique so I like to get to know my students and then teach according to their interests and learning style. I have studied French and am learning Spanish so I understand the difficulties of learning a new language.
