Hello!
Hello. My name is Eileen. I am originally from New York City but I have lived in London for many years. I am a qualified TEFL teacher with a further certificate in 1-1 online teaching. I am also an editor, author and former diplomat. In all of those roles, I realise how important being able to communicate is - to know a language to the point where you can understand and be understood. That is what I want to help you do. I am also happy to help you with your written English. If you have something that you would like checked for accuracy, fluency and grammar, I would be happy to look it over for you to make sure that what you think you said is actually what you said.
I have lived in many places around the world and enjoy travelling - especially learning about the people, cultures and languages in the places I visit. I live in London with my husband and our dog, Bear. I have a black belt in karate, which surprises many people, and am currently trying to learn Spanish and how to play the flute.
