Hello!
Hello! It is a pleasure to meet all of you! I am a Canadian who has been teaching and travelling the world for the last 16 years and enjoying the experience, as there is always something new to learn as a teacher and to discover as a traveler.
Besides teaching and sharing experiences with other people, I love to travel! One of the most satisfying experiences in moving to a new country is learning a new language (maybe not fluently but enough to get by) by meeting new people, trying out new food and learning about the history and culture of a place.

Teaching Style
My teaching background includes the Humanities, the Sciences and English. Over the many years that I have taught, my teaching style has adapted to the students that I have taught, as I have moved from country to country teaching in international schools at both the middle school and high school levels. I enjoy building lessons around real-world events/topics and students' own experiences and interests and encouraging them to apply their new knowledge and skills through activities such as discussion and role playing. I have also spent a lot of time working with individual students on helping them to hone and develop their critical and creative writing skills, as I believe that each student has their own strengths that are waiting to be developed.
