I am a former Middle school teacher (ages 9-13) and current English tutor. I am a mother to four sons. I am skilled in teaching basic English to teenagers and adults. I specialize in helping beginners and intermediate learners improve their speaking and confidence. I have experience teaching all youth from S. Korea, Japan, Mainland China, & Taiwan. I also have experience teaching girls from Türkiye, Jordan, Egypt, and Brazil. I studied in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) and I love meeting people from around the world! I have traveled the world to 10 different countries and enjoy learning new languages and cultures! I enjoy novels, memoirs, football (soccer), music and cooking. In addition to being a former teacher, I used to work at an American radio station. I can help you sound more natural and confident when speaking English! I teach with patience and encouragement. Let's make learning English fun and useful for your life! For intermediate students I recommend reading the following books if they are available in your country: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe; The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants; and Charlotte's Web.
