Hello!
Hello! My name is Morgan, I am 29 years old and I am from the United States. I am so excited to be on this platform and be able to help others learn a language! Learning languages is so fun, and that's how I want to make it for others too! I am an outgoing, creative person that has a passion for teaching and meeting new people! I try to find unique ways to make classes fun while still learning a lot at the same time. I would love to meet you and try to give you the best language learning experience possible!
Here is a little bit about the recent experience I have as a teacher: I have a lot of experience teaching English to both children and adults, including this year working in an English academy teaching mostly children, along with some teenagers. Last year I taught in another English academy to mostly adults and teenagers. Before that, I taught after-school English to children in primary/preschool, and two years before that I taught in a primary/preschool as a teacher's assistant. Lastly, the year before that I worked as an au pair, teaching English to their family. I have also given many private classes to both children and adults and I have worked on Cambly for 3 years.

I try to adapt my teaching style to the preferences of the student, but I tend to use visual aids and hands-on things to help students learn better. I don't like to just talk at them and hope they understood everything. I also find that writing things down helps a lot when it comes to learning grammar and/or vocabulary. In the end, though, I think a super important and often avoided part of learning a language that many people are embarrassed of (including me when I started learning other languages) is speaking! I try to encourage students to tell stories and talk more than they normally would because that is when they make the most mistakes that they may not normally make while writing. In general though, my teaching style is all about having fun. Even though we have to do serious things sometimes to be able to learn better, once we have the basics down, we can practice in super fun ways!
