Hello!
Hey there, Gail here. I am a qualified teacher of many years experience. I have always had a love of teaching, as I myself enjoyed my years as a student and was inspired by the teachers that taught me. My love of teaching has encouraged me to use my knowledge and abilities to branch out and help not only children but adults who want to learn or improve their English skills.
I have been an Educator for over 20 years in a variety of forms: class teacher, private tutor and language coach for students of many ages. Teaching is my passion. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time reading, from time to time, I write poetry and would one day, like to be a published author. I also enjoy visiting interesting places, particularly those with some historical significance. I like to socialize with friends and spend time with my loved ones. I also enjoy music and dance and like to combine the two when exercising, so keeping fit and healthy is also an important part of who I am. I am also a person of faith and this is a way of life for me, as it encourages me to be the best that I can be and how I can give of my best to others.

Teaching Style
When teaching, I like to use a variety of styles or techniques. I think it is important to know the learning style of the student, so that I can tailor the lesson to suit them, ensuring that they get the most out of the lesson and make progress. My lessons include presenting and explaining the new concept, with visual aids and examples, followed with students practicing and then producing their own understanding of what they have learned. Lessons are interactive and encourage the students to apply what has been taught. Reviewing and revisiting concepts are also included within my teaching, to reinforce and embed the learning, particularly relating to real life situations.
