Amanda
Hello!
Hello. I am a native British English speaker and a qualified TEFL teacher having achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, with a specialism in Business English. I have also trained as an IELTS coach. As well as holding a teaching qualification, I have many years experience working in a professional setting in diverse sectors including finance, marketing and customer services. I prefer to teach adult students from intermediate to advanced level. Sorry, but no children please.
I love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and sharing travel experiences. My working background is mainly in finance and I have a love of horticulture. I enjoy talking about many different subjects including current affairs, history, books, travel and the environment. I lived in Ireland for 11 years working as an Office Manager and also studied organic horticulture. I returned to the UK in 2014 and now live in the UK on the beautiful Norfolk Coast.

Teaching Style
By nature I am friendly, enthusiastic and respectful. This is reflected in my teaching style. I think a professional but personal approach to teaching is important. I want all my students to feel comfortable and supported in their lessons, and we will work together to achieve the students' aims and goals.
