I am a Canadian-born teacher who has taught English in Korea and online. Having a great passion for history, I host a podcast and love diving deep into historical research. Exploring new places and meeting new people excite me. I enjoy cruising in a car to see new spots and landscapes. Adventure is out there, and it's my philosophy to be open to new possibilities for it.

Teaching Style
Conversation and comprehension exercises are two foci of my language teaching style, so that you as the student can become more comfortable in your communication skills. As an instructor, I also strongly believe lessons must be fun. Whether this involves learning a song, watching an entertaining video, or discussing a topic in which you're personally interested, I will endeavour to hold engaging lessons that you will enjoy. Finally, I also hold to the philosophy of "practice makes perfect." We will practice grammar with a healthy amount of exercises, so that you will be able to master the building blocks of the English language.
