Hello, my name is Jonté (sounds like Jon-tay). My name looks French but I’m American. I speak English and a bit of Portuguese. Learning another language has helped me to understand some of the difficulties in learning a language but it has also helped me know what things are useful and necessary. I hope I can help you!
I love languages! I absolutely love learning them! It's one of my hobbies. I've been trying to learn Chinese, Korean and Spanish. It's my dream to speak as many languages as possible. I didn't know how much I loved to teach until I started teaching English. It has become my passion! Even though, it's challenging, I think learning it should be fun and exciting!

Teaching Style
First, I only teach adults (if you're younger than 15, I recommend trying Cambly kids). I like to learn about the student. What would they like to learn? Why? Then, I adapt my teaching method to the learning style and needs of the student. What I've found that works best is when the student is actively involved, prepares for class and studies a little bit every day. Using class to speak as much as possible is the best way to remember what you learn and to help it stick!
