Hello! Great to meet you here! I'm Crista. I'm a teacher, traveler, and language learner with over 15 years of professional teaching experience. Teaching is a passion of mine and I'm glad to have the opportunity to do it in the online classroom. The students I work with are all ages and from all levels of English learning. It's a pleasure to have some of these student connections continuing for years. The development of students' abilities to express themselves with language is what inspires me. How can I support you in your language learning journey? I am glad to work with and create learning plans for students of all levels. Looking forward to the unique experiences of the classes here!
I love travelling and learning new languages! I have studied Spanish in Mexico and Spain. I have studied French as a student in Paris. I have also studied Mandarin while living in Shanghai. I addition to teaching, I also work in arts and design. I like to make illustrations, paintings, and lighting designs. My personal interests are in philosophy and Taiji. In my free time I like to be outdoors for activities like gardening, hiking, swimming, and surfing.
