Hello, my name is Caroline Bergin! I am a teacher from Canada, living in beautiful British Columbia! I have been teaching children for over 10 years in many different capacities like nature education, Indigenous studies, special education and alternative education (Waldorf). I love teaching and meeting new people. I love sharing my passion and love of life. Language and communication is a very important step in making our dreams come true as well as building strong, diverse communities. I am a mother, daughter, sister, womyn and lover of life! I live to experience and learn all about the world. I strive to be a kind and inspiring teacher who inspires passion through good communication, a love of life, and service to the world. I teach so my students are capable to take up what the world calls them to do. We each hold a seed that when ignited through support and love, any and all possibilities can come alive. My teaching style comes from a background in alternative education as well as mainstream education. Through elementary school to university I have had many opportunities to experience education. I have found that the student-teacher connection is most important where we get to now your best style of learning so I can best facilitate. Whether that is through oral conversational English, written or comprehension we can find a model and approach that best suits your needs. I teach to inspire and evoke the natural learner in all of us. Our own learning is our responsibility which will motivate personal growth and lifelong learning, I am here to help direct and guide your interest in learning English.
