Hello!
I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. I have been an educator in the Ann Arbor area since 2000. That is when I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in English and Drama and teaching certification for English and Spanish. Later, I obtained a Master’s Degree in school counseling from Eastern Michigan University. In the 22 years that followed, I taught English, Spanish, and spent ten years as a high school counselor in Ann Arbor. In September of 2020, I went 100% online and became an ESL teacher. I love it!
I have always loved reading and writing. I’ve published poems, plays, and a 300 page novel! I also love talking to people from other countries. I’ve been to 16 countries myself! I have used my experience and enthusiasm to help English-language learners love the language like I do.
