I enjoy being in nature, especially the ocean. I am gregarious, funny, smart and interested in the world. I love food from all over the world - I'll try anything once! I’m also an artist, writer, and lifelong traveler. I’ve lived in Germany, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and now Panama, so I understand the challenges of navigating language and culture in everyday life.

Teaching Style
My general teaching style is casual and conversational, engaging and interactive. I feel my skills are best suited for high-level beginners and above. I understand that everyone learns in their own way and am happy to tailor sessions to the needs of the individual. I prefer to meet my students where they are in their individual ability and style, establish a rapport and understanding and then work from the foundation we've established. I believe my teaching style works best for intermediate and advanced students. I prefer to work collaboratively with students on topics of discussion. It is helpful to use topics students are interested in so lessons aren't dull or boring. I believe learning should be fun and interesting. My goal is to help your achieve your English speaking goals and enjoy the process.
