Hello!
Hello Parents and Students, Just a little intro about myself. My name is Annie, I will be your child's teacher. I have worked both in private and public schools within Canada. Although, I was born in India. I came to Canada when I was only 8 yrs old. I have completed majority of my schooling in Canada. I'm a Canadian citizen. Recently, I've completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification online. It will be my pleasure and honor to teach your child English. My passion and delight has been to teach children new things. It is a very rewarding and satisfying feeling to know you're making a difference in the life of a child. By teaching English you are giving them a chance to make a brighter future for themselves.
Some of my hobbies include doing arts and crafts around the house. Play badminton and basketball for fun. Listening to all genres of music. Spending time with friends and family going to the movies, doing big get togethers with tasty dishes etc.

My personal teaching style, I like to make things more interactive with the students. This way they are able to learn things quicker. By adding props and other items to keep their attention from straying. We all agree learning a new language can be challenging. So, it's best to make it fun to get the child more involved doing the activity along with you. Props can be beneficial for mature students too, to give a better understanding of the new words being introduced. Every adult has a little child wanting to explore, learn new and creative things. I believe you can learn English even while talking about art, movies or certain songs. It gives you freedom to learn while having fun.
