Hello!

Hello! my name is Adam, I am from South West United Kingdom, more specifically a place known as Somerset. I am a TEFL qualified teacher which means I am certified to teach English online and in the classroom. I speak with what is known as the received pronunciation (RP) accent. I like to think of myself as an easy going teacher who will be very attentive to your needs and will offer gentle correction where it is needed. I can also offer help to you with any language questions you may have and I will offer as much help as I possibly can. I would also like to give a little background about who I am. I have spent 20 years in the creative industries. I am an Illustrator by trade and I often work with clients and this can take the form of writing messages to people and I write my own blog, so I am constantly using the English language and that fits in nicely with what I do at Cambly. Some of my hobbies are also related, I enjoy reading novels, I also enjoy going to art galleries, I enjoy films, specifically foreign language movies, I also like to go on walks in the the countryside and I really enjoy exploring cities. I am very interested to learn more about culture. I have many decades of experience in the arts, having taken a bachelors and masters degree in fine art and illustration. My time is often divided between creating artwork and writing for my personal blog. I also collect records and attend live music shows. I have a passion for creativity and I am very enthusiastic about teaching English language. Other hobbies include cinema (particularly foreign language movies) and novels, I also enjoy exploring nature as much as I enjoy discovering what the city has to offer. I am very familiar with London and South West England, having lived in both. I'm particularly interested to learn more about different cultures around the world. Currently I am studying beginner level Japanese language. I hold a TEFL degree in teaching online and in a classroom environment.
