Hello and welcome to my profile! I am an English as a Foreign Language teacher from England with a neutral, clear accent. I have worked with students of all levels so don't worry about where you are with English, we can work together to help you improve! I would particularly love to help you with conversation practice to develop your fluency, vocabulary and confidence. Please note that I do not teach children younger than 13 on Cambly. I look forward to hearing from you!
I've been teaching languages for ten years, but I've been a language student for more than twenty years so I understand how it can feel. I love language and grammar, and have even been found reading a dictionary - just for fun! I am interested in more or less everything and am an excellent listener, so you do not have to worry about finding a topic to talk about. My particular interests are books, the theatre, nature, video- and boardgames, puzzles and cooking. I also love walking in the countryside, visiting as many places in the UK as possible, and travelling abroad when I can. I'm very much looking forward to meeting you!

Teaching Style
As a teacher I am very patient, kind and encouraging. I have always taught in a communicative style, as I believe that practice using new language and making sure to recycle old language is the best way to build up a strong base for communication. Practice makes perfect! I also love grammar and can help you to strengthen any area of English grammar that is causing a problem. I am very flexible, so if you know what you need to do then we can work on that together, or I can suggest ideas if you are not sure how to move forward.
