Hello!
Hi there, just a few words of introduction. My name is Philip and i've been a teacher of English for over thirty years, in the classroom and more recently, online. I have travelled widely, and taught in many countries such as Kenya, Brunei, Singapore and the UAE, and have knowledge of diverse educational needs and exams. I have taught part-time online for the past five years, combining that with standard face to face high school teaching. Whether in a large class or alone, every student is special and individual and merits equally special attention. I have experience with IELTS, Cambridge, the British system, as well as international standards and an interest in all things cultural and social. Books are a passion, also, particularly literature and history and psychology.
I was born in the UK, and am British so i spent much of my early adult life there, but since the nineties i have lived abroad and now reside as in Romania, very close to Bucharest. I am married, and have a daughter.
